TOUR PERU
Walking Ancient Peru
There is a difference between visiting an ancient place and truly experiencing it.
For years, Stone Bothering has focused on exploring ancient landscapes with curiosity, attention, and a deeper sense of connection. Through Let's Peru It, we recently organised a journey for a group of 16 people to experience the ancient heart of Peru for themselves.
The journey included time in Cusco, exploration of Inca stonework and historic streets, and the unforgettable walk along the Inca Trail toward Machu Picchu.
This was not designed as rushed tourism or a checklist trip. The goal was to give people the chance to slow down, observe carefully, and experience these ancient landscapes in a more meaningful way.
We helped organise accommodation, logistics, local coordination, and support throughout the experience, while licensed local trekking specialists handled the Inca Trail operation itself.
For many participants, the most memorable moments were not just the famous views, but the smaller details:
- the precision of ancient stonework
- mountain paths shaped by centuries of movement
- the atmosphere of the Andes
- the feeling of walking through landscapes still deeply connected to the past
Peru is one of the most extraordinary places in the world for anyone interested in ancient cultures, sacred landscapes, and historical exploration. Experiencing these places in person changes the way many people think about history, travel, and even themselves.
This journey was organised through Let's Peru It, while Stone Bothering continues to focus on sharing and exploring ancient places around the world.
We hope to organise more small-group Peru experiences in the future for people who want something deeper than ordinary tourism.
